Pediatric Associates, Inc. (PAI) is one of  the Philippines' leading distributor of rapid diagnostic tests and equipment and other cutting-edge healthcare products. We are committed to enhancing healthcare delivery by providing medical practitioners with our excellent products and services.

Since 1983, we have expanded and developed our product lines. We now have 3 major divisions:

  2. Blood-borne Pathogens / Infectious Diseases
  3. Oncology and Women's Health

We have ties with international manufacturers and distributors of quality medical equipment such as Orion Diagnostica, Techlab, Alere, Inc. (Inverness Medical Innovations), Alfa-Scientific Designs, Inc and others. We carry globally recognized brands such as:

Customer Service

As part of our commitment to excellence, we offer a 24/7 phone support as well as conduct regular site visits. Such visits are conducted by our Technical Supervisor, Business Unit Manager, Technical Manager and if necessary, the General Manager. 

We have a Quarterly Preventive Maintenance Program to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted flow of your operations and to monitor the functionality and reliability of your equipment. Any equipment that is not functioning can be replaced with a working unit while yours is sent for further inspection, repair or replacement.

We also conduct extensive theoretical and hands-on training for new users, and reinforcement sessions for existing ones.

 

Company History

PAI was organized by a group of pediatricians in 1983 imbued with a common vision to improve healthcare delivery system in the Philippines. Initially, PAI started to import vaccines and serve the constituent stockholders & other pediatricians. Later it ventured into diagnostics and created a division: Pedialab.

With this division, various diagnostic reagents came on board. However, only TYPHIDOT sustained the test of time and continue to be the market leader in typhoid test locally. PAI soon became a practically one product company until year 2000, when there was a major change in the BOD & the management team.

In 2000, PAI continued to expand the distribution of Typhidot, while also searching for new product lines.

Soon the following suppliers & product lines came on board:

Orion Diagnostica: with the QuikRead System and Uricult as well as the Rota-Adeno test kits, and the H. Pylori Urease
 
Alfa-Scientific Designs,Inc, : having rapid Troponin I, Cardiac 3-in-1, PSA and Pregnancy tests. 

Alere, Inc. (formery Inverness Medical Innovations)  with the ff: brands: Clearview, Binax, Determine, Panbio, Wampole (Techlab). Each brand carries several produ ct lines.
